Young Princess Trilogy part 1 of 3
In the medieval land of Astoria, a young princess-to-be named Stasia was born into a world where wealth and privilege held great significance. As she grows up being a member of the royal family, she is groomed to become princess and take over rulership of the land at the age of sixteen. And she is placed into an arranged marriage with the prince of a neighboring land, being obligated to marry him at the age of seventeen. With her training based on a long-followed Code of Honor, Princess Stasia realizes that she is being taught values with which she disagrees and a way of thinking that she disapproves of. This places her in a difficult situation at a young age, because when her time comes to rule, she will have to make decisions with drastic consequences that could turn her own family against her and threaten the stability of the land. This is the story of how a remarkable young princess with extraordinary wisdom finds herself at odds with the establishment and the way things have always been. (New 2nd Edition released Sept. 2025)

Young Princess Trilogy part 3 of 3
At the age of fourteen, Princess Stasia nearly lost her life in a terrifying incident that took place one night on the prison island of Syntagma. Five years later, unanswered questions remain about some of the events related to that night. In the meantime, the land of Astoria has moved on, and Stasia has enjoyed a short but successful reign as the new queen. Under the leadership of Queen Stasia and King Rackley, with the assistance of Chief Royal Knight Mathieu and Royal Representative Stefan, Astoria has truly been enjoying majestic times. But how will our heroes react when suddenly the horrors of Syntagma Island return to threaten everything that the queen stands for and has worked hard to accomplish? In this fitting conclusion to the book trilogy, Queen Stasia and her loyal friends will face the gravest threat ever to the royal castle by the most fearsome enemy they have ever known. Majestic Times, the concluding volume of the Young Princess Trilogy, is a gratifyingly ambitious finale — one that brings together more than a decade of storytelling with confidence, emotional clarity, and an unexpectedly intimate sense of scale. While its predecessors established a foundation of youthful adventure and courtly intrigue, this final book embraces a broader canvas, expanding the world of Astoria into a realm shaped as much by memory and myth as by politics and heroism.
The novel opens in a kingdom unsettled by disease, rebellion, and old wounds resurfacing. Yet the author keeps a careful hand on the narrative, grounding each crisis in character rather than spectacle. A waterfall rescue unfolds with breathless tension; the sinking of the Royal Pride evokes classic adventure fiction; and the climactic conflict on Adela Island carries the weight of generational trauma. These scenes never feel gratuitous — instead, they echo through the quieter moments that follow, giving the book a sense of unity and narrative purpose.
But it is the characters who elevate the story. Queen Stasia, once a timid figure, has evolved into a complex and arrestingly human protagonist. Her duel in the burning stables — a sequence written with cinematic precision — becomes a defining moment not only for her leadership, but for the trilogy itself. Yvonne, long a supporting presence, emerges as one of the novel’s most compelling figures: her blend of resolve, compassion, and hard-won wisdom gives the book its emotional backbone.
The supporting cast — Stefan, Claire, Lolek, Delphine, Berwyn, and even the troubled Maura — contribute to a rich ensemble reminiscent of a much longer epic. Count Badrick stands out as a villain shaped by grief rather than greed; his motivations are understood even when his actions are inexcusable, lending the central conflict a surprising degree of pathos.
The worldbuilding is both expansive and meticulously considered. The legend of Saige and the Astorian lions offers a mythological undercurrent that strengthens the novel’s thematic resonance, while the Arrowweed Fever crisis lends a sobering realism to the narrative. Readers may recognize faint echoes of historical chronicles or folklore, but the execution feels distinctly original.
Stylistically, the prose is clear and earnest. The author favors descriptive passages and detailed action sequences, which occasionally stretch longer than necessary, but these moments are balanced by an abiding sincerity and a refusal to resort to cynicism. Even in its darkest chapters, Majestic Times remains guided by the belief that courage and compassion matter — and that they can, in fact, change the world.
What the novel accomplishes, ultimately, is no small feat. It completes a trilogy that has grown in scope and maturity without losing its heart. It ties together long-running storylines with care. And it offers an emotionally resonant ending that honors its characters’ journeys without resorting to easy resolutions or hollow triumphs.
For longtime fans, Majestic Times is a deeply satisfying and often stirring conclusion. For newcomers, it stands as an example of how earnest, character-driven fantasy can still surprise, uplift, and endure.
